The Bieszczady National Park invites tourists and informs that all marked
trails are accessible to visitors. The situation on the trails is good,
only in some places there are muddy sections. Please note that weather
conditions can change rapidly. To avoid afternoon storms, we advise you to
start early morning and also check the detailed weather forecast.
The latest attraction of the Bieszczady National Park is a newly opened
bicycle rental, which is located in the "Baza nad Roztokami" hotel in
Tarnawa Niżna. There are 20 new bikes at your disposal. Details of the
offer and reservations can be made using the following telephone numbers:
502 194 734, 531 860 026, 13 461 01-04 or email:
kontakt@bazanadroztokami.pl
.
We also encourage you to visit Hucul Horse Stable in Tarnawa Niżna, which
offers: horse riding for beginners and advanced riders, guided tours for
children, lunge riding lessons and horse riding in the paddock or indoor
riding school. For those who are eager to ride in the picturesque
Bieszczady mountains, we recommend off-road riding and carriage rides on
routes in the upper San valley. The Stable is open every day from 9:00 to 17:00.
Some good advice on how to behave when a storm catches you in the
mountains:
-
If the weather forecasts predict storms and strong winds, cancel the
trip,
-
Do not stay in the top parts of the mountains, go down as low as
possible,
-
If you cannot go down to the buildings or the car, take a semi-sitting
figure with your legs tucked up, necessarily isolating yourself from
the ground, eg with a backpack,
-
Do not hide under tall trees and move away from reservoirs and
watercourses,
-
Avoid exposed places such as peaks and rock outcrops,
-
Turn off your mobile phone.
Do not take risk unnecessarily!
Your safety is the most important for us!
We would like to remind you, that due to the lack of network coverage and
mobile data connection in some areas of the Park, is not possible to pay by
credit or debit card.
